Now that the AC4 licensing is based on unique users I understand that the license can be applied to many gateways in an organization.
For example, if one buys a 100 user Apex license this could be applied to 5 different ASA gateways such that they all could support remote access VPN connections.
My question is - how does this license actually get applied at the ASA? When you get the PAK and register it you'll need to give the serial number of the ASA you want to apply it to before you generate the license key. Can you now register the pack several times with different serial numbers?

It's exactly as you assume. You can provide the same PAK multiple times to different serial numbers.

Can anyone add any clarity on this topic with regards to ISE? Can the same license be applied to ISE or do you need to purchase separate AC Apex licenses for ISE and ASA?
