Dear all,
I am using the VPN Client v3.0 on a Mac.
My notebook does not auto-connect after hibernation. According to the online support there is a way of changing an xml-file in regard to Auto Reconnect Behaviour:
<<
The VPN connection has been disconnected due to the mobile device
sleeping. The reconnect capability is disabled. A new connection is necessary, which
requires re-authentication.
Description In accordance with the AnyConnect configuration,
AnyConnect disconnected because the endpoint went to sleep.
Recommended User Response Try a new VPN connection.
Recommended Administrator Response Because mobile devices sleep more
frequently than portable computers, consider configuring a different
profile and group for mobile devices with the DisconnectOnSuspend
preference set to "Reconnect on resume" if mobile device end-users
encounter this message frequently.
>>
Now, the article does not mention which file in which location needs to be changed. I have most of my config files here:
~/opt/cisco/anyconnect/profile
Is this place correct?
The file is called "AnyConnectProfile.xsd". Is this correct?
The new parameter is supposed to be "Reconnect on resume" (see quote above), but I am not sure that there can be blanks between the words. I have tried both versions and the client does not autoconnect.
Any help appreciated!
Thanks!
John
