Anyconnect Secure Mobility client interfering with Ethernet connection

I have a computer that will need to be connected to another device using an ethernet connection and my network (ethernet preferred but will be fine connecting with Wi-Fi. The computer will recognize all connections simultaneously within "Network Connections", but as soon as Anyconnect Secure Mobility client is installed onto a computer, only one connection will be recognized while the other says, "Network Cable unplugged."

This issue is not occurring on another device with the same set up and similar network adapters. This device is on windows 10.

Information regarding the computer with the problem will be included below.

OS: Windows 11

Computer: Lenovo ThinkCentre M90s Gen5

Anyconnect version: Tried on both (4.10.07073) and (5.1.12.146)

Have you looked into whether Local LAN Access is disabled within the AnyConnect VPN profile?

When this feature is disabled, all traffic is forwarded through the VPN tunnel, which breaks local Ethernet connections.

Might be worth checking the XML for the default VPN profile to see if it is enabled? Otherwise, could be a quirk with the Lenovo driver or with how the Interface Metrics are set up in Windows settings.
