Anyconnect use with Multiple sites

Hi All,

This maybe a more a DNS question but, it pertains to Anyconnect.

I have two sites (A and B) and each site has a Firepower 2110 and each 2110 has its own FMC with Cisco Anyconnect installed and separate internet connection.

Most users will login into Site A with Anyconnect but, we have setup site B as our redundant site.

If I create a DNS record VPN.mycompany.com and if site A goes down what are others doing to be able to use that same DNS record and connect to site B when site A is down?

Hello!

You can use AnyConnect profile with backup site like this:

<HostEntry>
<HostName>SiteAMain</HostName>
<HostAddress>SiteA.yourcompany.com</HostAddress>
<BackupServerList>
<HostAddress>SiteB.yourcompany.com</HostAddress>
</BackupServerList>
</HostEntry>
</ServerList>
