Anyconnect VPN Android On Demand Feature

Hi Guys, is anyone able to confirm if the Anyconnect mobile client for Android (v4.x) supports any form of On Demand or Always on VPN functionality? Or does an Anyconnect VPN on Android devices need to be established manually by the end user?

I know "On Demand" or "Always On" functionality exists for Win 10 and Win Phone, however I would like to confirm if we can configure our Android Phones for VPN On Demand or Always on VPN without the user manually initially the connection.

On demand vpn works with Apple iDevice as I've implemented it for jabber client but not compatible with Android devices.
