ASA 5515 - Multicast Configuration

Hello All,

I need to open access to AnyConnect remote users to access some services that need multicast access.

Is the ASA support muticast configuration? if so, How Can I deal with the above request?

Hi Mostafa,

At this point AnyConnect does not supports multicast, this bug id includes the documentation about it: CSCsm08720

If i have a site-to-site VPN between my HQ and another site. Can the multicast traffic pass through this Site-to-Site VPN.

You cannot pass multicast traffic over a plain Site to Site Ipsec VPN. You would need routers on both sides behind the ASA to do GRE. GRE will encapsulate multicast traffic and send it over the IPsec tunnel. Steps to configure that are here:
