ASA 9.X support vmware without smart tunnel?

Hi there! We got a VMware VDI solution with an additional HTML 5 connection license. Internally we can connect any HTML 5 supported browser to connect to the desktop environment. From version 9.X there is HTML 5 support. We got only one appliance, and I would like to know if this will work with Vmware 5.2. Also we need to know if this will work without SMART tunneling. Maybe that you guys got the answer for me.

Hi Peter,

Yes we havetested it succesfull. Just configure the VDI page internal, so that it works on the internal LAN.

Just upgrade your ASA code to 9.x for HTML5 support. It works without smart tunneling.
