asa easy vpn server and ios client both side need public ip

Hi

can anybody define that cisco asa 5525-x  and cisco ios 2800 router can be client both sides need public ip or only server side.

please clear my doubt

Hi,

If you planning to do it through internet  with ios router as hw client, then definitely it requires public address to communicate each other..... router and headend asa should be reachable over public internet.... each has to know about its unique public address to establiush the communication tunnel between each other....

Then you can do with ezvpn itself. Take the below mentioned thing as an example and configure accordingly for your scenario.
