We need to allow Smartphones to synchronize their mails via ActiveSync with a internal Corporate Exchange server, thru Internet + ASA Firewall;
is there a way to do so via the ASA clientless mode ?
the customer requirements, in this case, are that the Smartphone users should NOT have to :
a) reenter his ASA portal user/password for each ActiveSync connection (this user/password would be enter only once, the very first time)
b) select the target application (Exchange in this case) for each ActiveSync connection
in other words, the ActiveSync communications between the smartphone and Exchnge Server must occur wihout end-user manual intervention
is the ASA clientless mode usable for such ActiveSync communications ?
