ASA5505 and Anyconnect for iPad

I am trying to get a connection , does the ASA require an additional license for anyconnect?  we have been only using VPN client

You need an "Anyconnect for Mobile" license

Note also that without additional SSL licenses (either Anyconnect Premium or Annyconnect Essentials)  the basic license only allows for 2 SSL connections.
