auxiliary port password won't prompt

when I connect via modem the auxiliary port password won't prompt but just going to enable password prompt. I have configured the password on aux as follow

line aux 0

session-timeout 10 

password 7 XXXXXXX

logging synchronous  

login authentication LINE_AUTH  

modem InOut

no exec

transport input all

• did i miss anything. thanks in advance for any help.

Hello

Add a command as " login " under " line aux 0 " and see if you get a password prompt.
