What is an easy why to clear the total config of a VPN 3000 Concentrator?

Has anyone done VPN 3000 load balancing? It seems pretty simple, but what I can't find in the documentation is whether you use the same group address pools on both concentrators, or if you need to use different address pools. Thanks.
