In our network, we have workstations and a server currently running. We also have a Cisco ASA 5505. I can RDP into the server and my laptop just fine. They have static nats and ACL's for the server and laptop permit RDP connections.
However, the new server has a static IP, I added the static nat in the firewall, as well as, permited RDP to pass through. For some reason, I cannot RDP into the new server.
The new server, my boss didn't want it part of the domain. It will be used as a sharepoint server. I enable Remote access on the server and can acess it from internally. I even added an exemption in the windows firewall settings to permit 3389.
Could it be that its not part of the domain?
I can post my ASA configs in necessary.
Please help.
