Hey All,
I was wondering if there way a way to make it so that one of your ethernet interfaces that is inside the ASA, could connect to the ssl vpn. It is a guest wireless interface that dhcp is being offered by the ASA and my cisco 3550's are all layer 2 on this vlan to keep it from being able to access the rest of the network. I was wondering if it is possible to make that happen so that my internal users can connect to the guest wireless and vpn in for their files?
05-03-2013 08:53 AM
Chris,
Youc an do that by enabling anyconnect on guest enterface and defining the connection profile for users to connect with split access list defining the networks you want the users to access on inside. Users can vpn to guest interface when they are connected on guest network.

Varinder

So i already have the anyconnect enabled on the interface and there is already a connection profile, but for whatever reason I can't access the vpn website. It just times out. Is there some sort of misconfiguration that needs to be fixed?

Hello Chris,
can you please show us the configuration that you have done.

Hi Chris,
Are the users trying to connect from the guest netwok?
Are they directly connected to the guet network?
As i dont see any route specific to the guset wireless so the directly connected users would be able to connect
It means any user whose ip adress is in the range of 192.168.204.0/24 can only connect to the guset wireless via ssl.
Thanks
Raj

I have the same issue as above Kumar. 1) It is not possible allow to anyconnect inside interface from Guest wifi .2 ) but I tried to set up vpn for guest to guest interface and it works .
Do you know why it doesn't work to connect 1st way , from GuestWifi to Inside even I had ACls to allow ?
05-04-2013 08:34 PM
So the guest wireless is directly connected to that third leg on the firewall and I want them to be able to use the VPN to the inside network and when I try to connect to the vpn.mydomain.com just times out. I am at a loss. What am I missing?
05-04-2013 09:11 PM
Hi Chris,
When you try to ping vpn.mydomain.com what is the ip that it is resolving to?
Is it resolving to your guestwireless interface ip?
What's the IP of the host machine from where you are trying to connect to Anyconnect?
Please check the logs on the ASA.
05-13-2013 08:24 AM
I get the outside IP address of the Firewall and it says no response when I ping it. Should it be resolving to the inside IP address of the firewall?
05-24-2013 11:56 PM
Anyone have any ideas on how to make this work?
