Hi,

I have Cisco 5525-X with 2 premium SSL free licenses and would like to buy license for 10 simultaneous SSL anyconnect users.

What PID of SSL and anyconnect license do I need ?

This is what I have:

Licensed features for this platform:
Maximum Physical Interfaces       : Unlimited      perpetual
Maximum VLANs                     : 200            perpetual
Inside Hosts                      : Unlimited      perpetual
Failover                          : Active/Active  perpetual
Encryption-DES                    : Enabled        perpetual
Encryption-3DES-AES               : Enabled        perpetual
Security Contexts                 : 2              perpetual
GTP/GPRS                          : Disabled       perpetual
AnyConnect Premium Peers          : 2              perpetual
AnyConnect Essentials             : Disabled       perpetual
Other VPN Peers                   : 750            perpetual
Total VPN Peers                   : 750            perpetual
Shared License                    : Disabled       perpetual
AnyConnect for Mobile             : Disabled       perpetual
AnyConnect for Cisco VPN Phone    : Disabled       perpetual
Advanced Endpoint Assessment      : Disabled       perpetual
Total UC Proxy Sessions           : 2              perpetual
Botnet Traffic Filter             : Disabled       perpetual
IPS Module                        : Disabled       perpetual
Cluster                           : Enabled        perpetual
Cluster Members                   : 2              perpetual

The idea is to use userless anyconnect for certificate authentication from remote sites to central site.

If the anyconnect is free of charge or need license to request to download from Cisco ?

Is anyone could help me what is needed ?

regards

Piotr

Cisco has changed the AnyConnect licensing from the Essentials/Premium model to the Plus/Apex model. Your first step will be to determine whether the new Plus license (similar to the Essentials) is sufficient for what you need or whether you will need the Apex license (similar to the Premium). This link will provide explanations about the types of license and other information that you would need for ordering the license.

You will also need to decide what term you wish for your license. The previous type of license (Essentials/Premium) were perpetual but the new licenses are term licenses. So do you wish to get a license for 1 year, 3 years, or 5 years.

Once you have determined the type of license and the term then table 2 in the document will show the part number to order.

You can still buy perpetual Licenses See

So order a
L-AC-PLS-P-G (zero cost)
Add a AC-PLS-P-25-S for 25 users

Hi Peter,

If AC-VPNO-25 is required also for ASA Unit? This cost $3995.

Hi Piotr

Yes :) though that will only give him VPN  - and not any of the "extra bits"

Hi Peter,

that is clear for me now.

However current licensing model is easier to understand then it was on the previous ASA lines.

Thank you all for help so much.

AC-VPNO-25 is a special expensive license, not required and rarely used.
