Primary WAN link goes down and there is no redundant link at that site. There is no IT staff onsite. An Engineer need to login to the WAN router remotely via a normal PSTN connected to the AUX of the WAN router to debug/troubleshoot as to why it went down. Also, the Engineer needs to access other Cisco device such as Switch stack/PIX to troubleshoot using the same PSTN connected to a modem and/or Access Server.
I had a look at some site and some recommended a PSTN connected to a modem and Cisco AS 2511 which can connect up to 16 devices. But this is now obsolete.
A good way which I have used many times before is to use either a NM-16A or NM-32A module into a 2600 or 2800 series router. Then connect your hosts up to these async ports.
You could then dial into the console port of this router, or buy an ISDN or modem WIC.

We have a Cisco 3700 router as the Gateway and incase the WAN link go down, I need to access this same router via PSTN dialup remote access and also access other Cisco devices.

Firstly, this is the product you can use to dial into your router, called a WIC-1AM-v2 for a 2800 series router:

VG router is a Cisco 2811 (Cisco IOS Software, 2800 Software (C2800NM-IPVOICEK9-M), Version 12.4(7c))
