Configure VPN between PIX 506e & ASA 5505 with dynamic IP
I have a Cisco PIX 506e with a static IP at our main location. This unit has hosted multiple VPN tunnels for some time without issue. Recently we replaced a failed PIX unit at a remote office location with an new ASA 5505. This remote site has had a dynamic IP address for some time and connected the VPN without issue. However, I cannot get the ASA 5505 to connect the VPN tunnel. I have initiated a new VPN tunnel on the main PIX - matched config settings but still cannot get VPN to connect.
