Greetings,
I'm having a problem setting up a DB solution using object tracking. First, the article states DDR must be configured first, which confuses me.
Internet Access, either T1 or otherwise, where all traffic is routed thru the VPN tunnel. I'm hitting a server on the other side of the tunnel with this:
ip sla monitor 1
type echo protocol ipIcmpEcho 10.16.5.130 source-interface FastEthernet0/0
threshold 5
frequency 5
ip sla monitor schedule 1 life forever start-time now
track 123 rtr 1 reachability
this works, UNTIL, I do this:
ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 68.165.x.x track 123
The traffic drops. I must include another duplicate entry withouth the track 123 statement and the tracking works.
Using the Route-map also breaks the sla monitor:
access-list 105 permit icmp any host 10.16.5.130 echo
route-map TEST permit 10
match interface 105
set interface BRI0/1/0 Null0
I've added my secondary route as well. how is the dialer or bri interface triggered? Should I use a profile? Do you still have to use a backup command?
I just don't get this.

Run the command `show track'
is your object 123 up?
If not can you ping 10.16.5.130 across the tunnel using F0/0 as the source?

I'm having this same issue. Can I ask what you had to do to get around this, an example config would be great!
Thanks!
