Data copying through site to site tunnel gets dropped half way through!

Hi experts,

                I have a remote site with 10MB Internet link connected to the HO via IPsec tunnel. Data copying through site to site tunnel gets dropped half way through, e.g if I am copying 2GB file it then gets stopped at 1.6GB, though tunnel shows up up. Also I have implemented Qos on the outside interface which police the input traffic up to 6MB max.

Any idea what other issue can be ?

Try using mss adjust to lower the mss and see if it makes any difference.

What kind of Cisco device is this?

its a Cisco ASA 5512x firewall.

Try an extreme setting like below, test it, and then remove it.  If it helps then put it back in again with a value like 1400 and then work down until it works as expected.

 sysopt connection tcpmss 1000

No this didn't make any difference. still looking the issue, it could be the other side.
