Define home network on 3g hwic

Hi all

Does anybody know how to change preferred roaming network on a 3g HWIC module? I think the home network is defined on the SIM card, but i have to manually switchover to the home network and then back to "auto" by using the "cellular 0/2/0 gsm plmn select manual xxx y" and "cellular 0/2/0 gsm plmn select auto" command. Reboot doesn't help...

It makes sense to stay on the network on which this router is connected to get some stability, but it doesn't make sense if the home network is available.

So, how can I set the preferred network which must be used if it's available?

I don't want to turn off roaming at all.

This is the snmp mib where I can see that the current status is "unknown":

c3gGsmRoamingPreference,

.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.661.1.3.1.1.7.31

Is there any command to configure the home network on the CLI? I try to set it the roaming preference to "home" with snmp, but it would be great if this is possible on the CLI.

Thank you very much for your help!

Raphi

I'm having a similar issue.  I'll keep you posted if anything comes up.
