DHCP relay through EZVPN

We have a EZVPN connection between ASA5510 as the server and the ASA5505 as remote site configured in network-extension-mode. We would like the clients behind the 5505 to get IP addresses from a DHCP server present on the inside of ASA 5510.

The connection looks as below.

DHCP server ---> 5510 ---> EZVPN --> 5505 --> Laptop.

Can you let me know whether there is any Cisco document for this setup?

Hello Mohan,

You should try the following:

1. The command "vpnclient management tunnel” on the ASA5505.

2. Configure Split tunnel on the ASA5510 with standard ACL in order to allow access to the network where the DHCP server is located.

3. Configure NAT exemption on the 5510 from between the network where the DHCP server relies and the remote network where the laptop relies.

Best Regards,
