Dialer Watch And RIP

Can somebody verify that I can use Dialer watch in routers running RIP ? Thanks.

Hello,

RIP and dialer watch works, since dialer watch just checks for the absence or presence of a route in the routing table, regardless of where that route comes from. Here is what CCO says:

Dialer Watch

Routing protocol independent: Static routes or dynamic routing protocols, such as Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (IGRP), Enhanced IGRP (EIGRP) or Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) can be used.
