DVTI virtual template not coming up

Hi,

I set up DVTI in EVE with 2 routers. 

HUB------SPOKE.

Virtual-template is not showing up/down. Instead of up/up.

Checked Phase1 and Phase2 parameters but not sure where I made a mistake.

Attached diagram and configuration.

Use Loopback0 as the ip unnumbered interface on both ends to establish a tunnel, you may need to define the tunnel source on the Hub's tunnel template aswell.

I tried using loopback and it worked. Also, it worked with my original configuration after I did a "clear crypto session".

If you peer the tunnels using the physical interface (Eth0/0) you will find that you can route traffic from the spoke over the Tunnel0 interface (if you create a static route), but on the hub when using a DVTI as the interface is dynamically created you cannot specify a destination. Normally you'd use loopbacks when using DVTI and then run a routing protocol, forming an adjacency between the loopbacks - routing the traffic over the encrypted tunnel.
