Does anyone know what kind of encryption method is used to encrypt the password (group, user) at the .pcf file of VPN3000 Client ?? Does it MD5 ?
Does the encryption strong enough , so that one that has the .pcf file could not decrypt the password with password cracker/ MD5 cracker tools ?
Sample of the encrypted password is as below:
enc_GroupPwd=291918F7833766A73D5442DA755F18487A9688AA81778388B966A8F5392CCB3F49A8487DF9D1112A0C5223D9CEF38173F7E0AC5D033EE08E
Appreciate for any reply.
Regards,
Engel

Its a combination of Group name and the pre shared key, the document says scrambled and does not give a method for it.

Thanks for pointing to the URL. My concern is if this encrypted password is strong enough so that it is not able to be cracked by the "tools" that anyone can download from the Internet.
Any insight would be very appreciated
