Firepower 2110 fxos management Interface

Hello,

we've got a new FPR 2110 working asa ASA, now I want tu upgrade the software in the fxos-cli.

Download of image fails.

I guess, the traffic is going out the management interface which we don't use and is not connected, management of ASA runs on the inside interface.

when I ping the FTP-Server from the ASA-CLI, everything is fine, when I ping from the local-mgmt cli, I see:

rou-ara27-rz-03-fxos(local-mgmt)# ping 172.27.196.253
PING 172.27.196.253 (172.27.196.253) from 192.168.45.45 : 56(84) bytes of data.
^C

so the traffic goes out the mgmt interface, which is not possible.

How can I disable the mgmt interface, or how can I manage, that the traffic goes out the inside interface?

on the ASA everything's fine

Hi,

FXOS needs to be upgraded through mgmt. You can't upgrade it through data
interfaces. In firepower, mgmt and data are different planes and managed
separately.

Connect your management interface to the switch and either assign it a
different subnet/default gateway or use the same subnet as one of your data
interfaces (e,g, inside interface).
