GRE TUNNELING

Hi,

as per the attached diagram i need to configure the gre tunnelling but we are using the dynamic nat pool. So how can i configure this i mean what will be the tunnel source and tunnel destination addresses.

U want GRE between pc or the routers ??

If router then u can use WAN ips as source and destination, provided ur 3G router support GRE.

hi vivek, 

please check the updated diagram there is change in the router wan ip address.

Router configuration

int tunnel 0

ip add 10.10.10.1 255.255.255.0

tunnel source 172.20.31.6 

tunnel destination 109.83.208.52  (ip add of 3g router)

3G router configuration

GRE REMOTE ADDRESS- 172.20.31.6

LOCAL TUNNEL ADDRESS-10.10.10.2

REMOTE TUNNEL ADDRESS-10.10.10.1

can u tell me the above configuration is correct or not ?

Use public ips of both ends as source and destinations.

If you are able to ping tunnel destination from tunnel source, then only GRE tunnel will come UP
