This was very helpful information and ultimately resolved my issue. With the many number of acronyms available it may be helpful to spell out any acronyms (i.e. ASA ...) since I have no idea what that log was.

Bringing up the certmgr.msc and browsing to the Personal directory as showed several certs with Fiddler “Do not trust” under the generated by column.

I removed all of these certificates, and that resolved my VPN connection issue.

Thanks again.

Thanks Mark!!!  7 years later (and much frustration) this is still an issue, and clearing out Fiddler certificates from my Personal certificate store fixed it for me.  Thank you for posting!

I saw a solution posted on a different thread. It went something like this:

Fix:

1. Open Internet Explorer -- > Tools --> Internet Options --> Contents (tab) -->Certificates --> Select all of the certificates listed and click "remove" to delete them.

2. Click close

3. Try to connect again.  This should fix it.

This worked for me.

Thanks

All folks,

Not able to connect with my CISCO ANY CONNECT to my XXX client. I'm getting below . Already cleared personal certificates on my machine. Also tried to re-install cisco anyconnect

10:28:45 AM    User credentials entered.
10:29:46 AM    Hostscan is performing system scan
10:29:47 AM    Hostscan is performing software scan

Now my IT team is suggesting to format my PC. Is this only the option now.

Thanks a lot in advance!!

hello,

Someone was able to solve the problem?
