How to tunnel vendor's assigned IP subnet to vendor network through VPN

Hi,

Vendor provides some services to Client's PC A, PC B which are in Client's network with IPs 10.10.1.2, 10.10.1.3 through Internet, but this requires PPTP VPN on direct Windows PC. After PPTP VPN is established PC A and PC B are in Vendor's subnet.

This approach to use direct VPN on each PC is not allowed in Client infra thus Vendor proposes to use IPSec between VPN gateways.

Question: Please provide the best solution how to tunnel/nat Client's PCs to Vendor's application severs. PCs have to access application servers simultaneously

Thank you in advance for any cool idea

any reply?

last reminder...

Hi,

Configuring L2L VPN between the 2 sites should be no problem. This is very common solution and after its up and working it eliminates the need for the actual clients to use any VPN software and also the L2L VPN connection requires minimal upkeep.

Personally I have mostly configured the L2L VPN with Cisco ASA devices so if you are using routers for the L2L VPN I'm not exactly sure on the configurations format but might be able to give you some examples.

To start of we need to know what kind of device is going to handle the L2L VPN on your side?
