So i have been battling with setting up BRAS on the c7206 Vxr platform. One thing i came to figure out though is that with some IOS versions, the service doesn't work!
With the same router, i tested with "c7200p-advipservicesk9-mz.124-22.T3.bin" and the service was working though i noticed PPPoE sessions were continuously resetting. On upgrading to the latest IOS "c7200p-advipservicesk9-mz.152-4.S7.bin", the customers can't even authenticate. In both scenarios authentication is being done on a remote radius server.
So am wondering why would the service not work on the latest IOS? or there any way this config needs to be tweaked?
At the moment all the BRASes am using are GE1, i haven't yet been able to successfully have the same working in 7206 GE2
If anyone has ever encountered this issue please advise how you went around it.
