IPSEC interoperability between PIX and Firewall-I

Hello,

i want to plan a hub and spoke VPN from 9 locations to a central one. (i want to use pix506 on each loaction)

The central one has a Firewall-I already.

Can PIX connect IPSEC against Firewall-I..??

If not i would plan a VPN3000 system there maybe or a PIX 515.

Any Hints???

Hi,

FW-1 ver. 4.1 SP1 and a Cisco PIX version 5.x will due. I have used the VPN with IKE and pre-shared keys.

hm...IPSEC56 or TripleDES??

Just check the all encryption,transform methods and hash algorithms the Firewall-I uses. I would do a extensive test with PIX-Firewall-I before moving ahead..
