ISDN calling issue

Hello,

I have two routers A and B. Router B is able to place ISDN calls successfully into Router A but Router A unable to place ISDN calls and upon reviewing the debug outputs in Router A, I see the disconnect cause is 0x82BF which suggests local Telco issue and also I see the following line:

*Mar 1 00:37:34.807: ISDN Se1/0:23 Q931: DISCONNECT pd = 8 callref = 0x0090

Cause i = 0x8090 - Normal call

clearing

This is what Cisco has to say in TAC case collection:

The disconnect may be caused by the lines being misconfigured. The debug isdn q931 command output indicates that the router receives a disconnect, as shown:

*Mar 13 02:05:22.716: ISDN BR0: RX <- DISCONNECT pd = 8 callref =0x8A

*Mar 13 02:05:22.724: Cause i = 0x8090 - Normal call clearingTo resolve this, remove session-timeout nn from the line configuration (on both ends of the circuit), as shown:

router(config)#line 100 107

router(config-line)#no session-timeout

360

Also, I need to know what exactly the following command is all about:

isdn protocol emulate {user|network}

I checked both the router configs and couldnt find anything wrong.

It would be of great help if anyone can provide me with some resolutions. I am attaching herewith the logs.

Hi

Could u check with the telco on the line of Router A, is it allowed to dial out calls.

I suspect much its a telco issue.

Cheers!

Hi there,

Was it a Telco issue after all ?

Thanks in advance,

Nick
