license installation

i have two asa runnig 8.4 configured as Active/Standby

Now i received a new Anyconnect license, how do i install the new license?

- Install the activation key on the Active and Standby unit.

- Install the activation key on the Active unit only.

which one is the proper procedure?

I couldn't find a definitive reference but in 8.4 the AnyConnect license is only necessary to be installed on one unit in a failover pair. The key should be tied to a given ASA serial number. I'd make sure that one is active and enter the activation key on it.
