Local Lan access disabled with VPN client

I was wondering the steps to enable Local Lan access on the 3005 concentrator. All users connect with the VPN client and loose their local network access until they disconnect from the VPN client. Usually if I set up a PIX to client connection I can allow local lan access with a simple access-list but I can not figure out the settings with the VPN 3005 concentrator.

Hi,

Your going to need to setup split tunneling in the 3005. Log into the 3005 and go to Configuration | Policy Management | Traffic Management | Network Lists. Add a list for your local LAN. Go back to the Group page on the 3005 and go to the Client Config page. There you want to tunnel everything, but put a check in the box to "Allow the networks in list to bypass the tunnel". In the "Split Tunneling Network List" drop down, select the list you created above.

Next, check the box in the VPN Client to allow local LAN access. There is probably other ways to get what you want but thats how I have done this in the past.

Hope that helps.
