Ladies and gentlemen,

we upgraded on of our routers a while ago from IOS12 to IOS15 and would like to migrate the SSL VPN license purchased for the 881 to a license suitable for IOS15.

When try to connect to https://tools.cisco.com/SWIFT/Licensing/LicenseAdminServlet/migrateLicense the following error message appears:

JBWEB000065: HTTP Status 404 - There is no Action mapped for namespace / and action name null

Please advise what we can do to migrate the license.

Kindest regards

Go to the licensing Portal directly using the following link:

http://cisco.com/go/license

Once there, click on "Get Other License" and Choose Migration. You can follow through the steps to migrate the licenses.

I would recommend calling into the Cisco Frontline in case you get held up with any licensing issues.

Thanks a lot. Worked like a charm!

But now I have the problem that the license is shown as activated but not in use.

Any ideas what could cause the problem?

You might have to start configuring "webvpn gateway" to receive a EULA to accept the license activation. Some of the newer IOS versions do not even need the license so it may never get activated, but you can still use the feature.

Thanks for the answer.

I configured webvpn gateway but there was no EULA... I'm using IOS 15.4-3.M4

Yup, 15.3 and above the feature is just enabled with securityk9 license. So nothing to worry :). More on that here:

Thanks a lot for your kind help!
