Hi,
I am testing the movian vpn client on a palm with our pix. I got to log in and received a ip address from the pix. Everything seems fine but I can't ping any host behind the pix.
I noticed something strange from the pix debbuging:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
return status is IKMP_NO_ERROR
crypto_isakmp_process_block: src 135.69.6.8, dest 135.69.3.9
ISAKMP: reserved not zero on payload 8!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What does "ISAKMP: reserved not zero on payload 8!" mean? What is wrong?
Any hints would be highly appreciated!

Hi Rickan,
The error message in the logs : ISAKMP: reserved not zero on payload 8! is telling us that the pre-shared keys are not matching on both peers. Please reset both keys (try to test with a simple key like cisco123) and it should work.
Regards,
Aamir

Hi Aamir,
thank you very much for your reply. I have resolved this problem. The error was that I didn't activate IPSec module on my palm. Now it works well although the error message reserved not zero on payload 8! still appears.
Best regards
Rickan
