Will Cisco VPN client work with another VPN client installed on a remote user's computer? Obviously not running at the same time, but both installed for use at different times.

Steve,
Q. Will Cisco VPN Client v4.x coexist with another installed VPN client?
A. Cisco VPN Client v4.x has introduced some architectural changes that allow it to coexist more easily with other VPN clients on the system. System interoperability has been verified with the Microsoft Windows Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol (L2TP) IPSec VPN client and the Nortel VPN client. Other VPN clients may now coexist, but would not be formally supported by Cisco.

Thank you for your response, Arul. The user got back to me, and she is actually using an old Cisco VPN client 4.0.1. I assume this complicates matters as we run 4.8, correct? Can both versions be on her machine?
Thanks!

Steve,
Since the VPN Client installs a Virtual Adapter on the PC, I dont think you can have two Cisco vpn clients on the same PC.
