NCSI False "no internet" status over VPN

Good Morning,

When our users are at work, they can access the internet and the network status icon shows they are on the internet.

When our users are at home and on the VPN, they can access the internet but the network status icon shows they do not have internet access. This causes issues with Outlook and SharePoint, as it falsely thinks this is no internet and gives up. However, we can still access the sites that NCSI uses to check if there is internet. How can make make the computer realize that it is on the internet while it is on VPN?

Hi @VecimaDavidha 

You don't provide enoguh information about your environment for us to help you, are you using an ASA AnyConnect Remote Access VPN?

If so, are you tunneling all traffic back to the ASA? If so you will need to configure the command same-security-traffic permit intra-interface and define a NAT rule that permits traffic from your RAVPN IP pool.

It might be easier for us to help you if you provided your configuration.
