On demand VPN with AnyConnect

Hi all

For a need of a customer of mine, I am trying to configure on-demand VPN with a Cisco ASA 5520

The aim is that AnyConnect prompts for a connection when users use a specific application (SAP portal) & only at this time

They are using Windows XP for Operating System

I can't find any example of this kind of configuration, I am not even sure it can be done

Would anyone of you have an idea for this ?

Hi,

Seems like thsi feature is supported for Ipad and IPhone only, I could not find anything related to windows, here's what is needed for Apple products :-

Thanks for your post & your help on that one

I found the same documents saying it can be done with Apple IOS; however, it seems unfortunately it doesn't exists with Windows OS & a simple computer.

Please let me know in case you find something else about it

Currently on demand is only a function available on IOS ONLY

You should look into using Smart Tunnels instead of AnyConnect.

Thanks for your answers, this confirmes my understandings

I found SmartTunnel is an option, but my customer wanted to use AnyConnect as a VPN client... will see with him about it
