Password Notification not prompting for new password

We have upgraded to ASA 9.6.2 software release and noticed that our password notification function does not work.

When a user password is due to expire within 14 days, the user continues to be re-prompted with the username and password fields.

At this point we have turned off the password notification until we figure out the issue. Wondering has anyone else ran into this issue

when they upgraded to 9.6.2.

 

We have checked that the ssl over ldap is checked, using port 636 for communication. The password notification is checked as well.

And nothing else has changed and the login DN has the elevated privileges required for Password Management?

Correct. Nothing else has changed. Only the ASA was updated to 9.6.2.

We upgraded to an interim release, 9.6.2.3.1. Now the password notification is working again.
