Hi,

Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction with VPN Client config and PIX config please.

According to this website the client I need is Cisco VPN 3.x+ / 6.0.x+ for windows 2000 to connect to the pix. I have version 3.1.1 but no matter where I look I can't find a specific walkthru for this version, they all seem to indicate the Cisco Secure Client only.

My questions are:

1 - Does the 3DES client work for DES as well?

2 - Am I wrong looking for this client only?

The 3.x client, also known as the unified client will work with both DES and 3DES. (vpn3000)
