We are experiencing problems mapping drives and browsing windows network.
After we connect from a Windows XP pc with Cisco VPN Client (IPsec) v.5.0.06.0160 it takes about 2-3 mins to map a drive to a Windows network share using the Net Use CLI or Explorer over a hi-speed cable modem. However, once the drive map is completed response time is good. We are authenticating through a Cisco ASA 5510 and Microsoft IAS server. We are running in Windows 2003 Server environment. We have setup and confirmed the clients are getting proper DNS and WINS information and we even tried adding LMHost entries for servers.
We welcome any ideas?
Thanks

Might be MSS issue. You can try with having a lower MSS size by configuring "sysopt connection tcpmss 1300" on the ASA.
