Routing interface behind VPN

Hello,

I would rather keep my question simple.

I am connected to Cisco Router from Windows 7 computer using L2TP Connection. Everything is working fine and i can access the corporate network from the client without any issue.

My question is, for some reason i want to access the second interface or lets say loopback interface of my L2TP client from my Cisco Router, is there anyway to do that. I have tried to enable windows routing, which helped me do it within local LAN but not via vpn.

In my diagram, i simply want to ping 192.168.1.2 from 10.50.95.1 or 10.50.0.1

Would appreciate any help.

Regards,

Faraz

Hi Faraz,

Check the routing on the Cisco router, the followign comamnd might be helpful to check the egress interface.

Show ip cef exact-route 192.168.1.2 10.50.95.1

The traffic might be egressing in a interface where the VPN is not applied.

Hope it helps
