On a RV340 with firmware 1.0.03.21, I followed the directions on post How to connect to RV340 on Windows via VPN? and was able to get Windows 10 computers to connect by L2TP/IPSec.
However the router configuration requires creating a separate L2 segment for the tunnel clients, instead of extending/bridging one of the local VLANs as L2TP is meant to.
Since it doesn't extend the local VLAN protocols like Simple Service Discovery Protocol (SSDP), Universal Plug and Play (UPnP), Bonjour, among others won't work over the tunnel.
Is there currently a way to get L2TP to "bridge" to a local VLAN on this router?
If not, would it be possible to file a bug/feature request for this to be addressed?
