I try to set up a client-to-site VPN, 3rd party client with RV345P, FW 1.0.03.19
Certificates are used for authentication. Same certificate is used (for testing) on both sides having subject CN=vpn.company.com. Signing CA is uploaded to RV345 and installed in Windows (Local computer)
RV345
Local ID: WAN IP
Remote ID: FQDN vpn.company.com
TheGreenbow VPN client is used in windows10. Settings are
Local ID: DNS vpn.company.com
Remote ID: ASN1 DN: CN = vpn.company.com
Connection fails. Greenbow console shows:
IDs do not match
Expecting CN = vpn.company.com
Receiving CN = vpn.company.com
Remote IDr rejected
What could be the problem? CNs look the same. I have also tried setting Remote ID in Greenbow to /CN= vpn.company.com with no success.
Does RV345 require something special in the certificate subject? Or does it add some special characters to the subject?
