Sending udp video stream from a server on site A to a host to Site B

Hi All,

I have a scenario that goes like this:

I have an IPSEc site to site VPN between a router with network 192.168.1.0/24 on Site A and a Cisco ASA 5525 with network 192.168.2.0/24 on Site B.

When we setup the server with ip 192.168.1.10 to send udp video stream with target host IP 192.168.2.10 port 5004 and opening VLC to view the stream is not working.

Locally on another machine from 192.168.1.10 to 192.168.1.11 its working as expected.

Can you please give some advice?

Can you ping between sites (aka, how do you know the VPN is working)?

Windows Firewall on site b?

MTU issue?  Tried using smaller packets?

Hi,

looks like the problem was on the host. We tried to send the video stream on another host than 192.168.2.10 and it worked so the problem isn't on the IPsec site to site VPN side.
