Site-to-site VPN going down after power outage or network interruption.

I have configured the ASAs to stay up but when a power outage or network interruption happens it requires me to generate the interesting traffic to bring the tunnel back up.  Is there anyway to bring the tunnel up without user intervention?

Hi,

You can create a ip sla on the lan segment... might be on the core router towards your remote lan ip address of some server or something.... to keep the tunnel up.....

I see this as a best idea....

And another method is through

group-policy s2svpn attributes

vpn-idle-timeout none

All of the idle timeout and everything that can be done on the ASA to keep tunnel up has been accomplished.  There isn't a router or managed switch behind the ASA just servers and workstations.
