I am looking into a site to site vpn using the inexpensive RV042 units. And dynamic dns. Kind of messy.
I found this writeup
http://sbkb.cisco.com/CiscoSB/GetArticle.aspx?docid=8c6825b4d43d4886be44afde263a41aa_Configuration_of_Gateway_to_Gateway_VPN_on_RV0XX_Series_Rout.xml
Which is quite helpful, but it does not mention what if you have dynamic addresses at both ends.
I have DDNS set up from duckdns.com.
On this page about advanced setup.
http://sbkb.cisco.com/CiscoSB/ukp.aspx?pid=4&vw=1&articleid=568
It discusses using a split DNS for the connection.
I think that is what I use the DDNS on.
Can anyone verify that, or explain the config? It's kind of confusing.
Thanks
