I'm using Cisco VPN Concentrator 3015. I'm trying to use SSH1 for remote administration rather that Telnet. SSH settings on the VPN Concentrator are left as default. I'm using PuTTy to make an SSH1 connection, but it fails to connect. Any idea?

Check the encryption method settings at PuTTy.
I have the same problem on TeraTerm SSH, which it sets its encryption to DES which doesn`t match the encryption default on Concentrator that using 3DES.
Hopefully that the same problem with PuTTy.

I tried TerTerm too. I change encryption to 3DES. I get the same message: "Connection Refused". Anything else that I can watch out for?
Thanx

Check the filter you are using in your public interface, it must permit SSH and be sure you have enable SSH in Management protocols and take a look at the encription protocols you have on.
