Hello,

one of my user have the problem listed in subject. The local IP is not the same as the VPN IP.

Both files routechanges4.bin and routechanges6.bin, are not available. In another threat there is a note to delete both files from this directory: C:\ProgramData\Cisco\Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client.  I can't delete when the files not in the directory

Also in another threat is a note, that the DNS server should not be the same on local virtual vpn adapter, as the adapter became via vpn, this is not given.

The version of Anyconnect client is 4.10.06079

The user is connected via FritzBox to the internet, the local IP is 192.168.178.xx, the VPN adapter should became an IP 172.16.15.xx - if it would work.

Have you an other Idea for my user? Best regards Franz

Hi,

I had the same issue with a Windows machine today.

In newer versions of Cisco AnyConnect (Cisco Secure Client), the routechangesv4.bin and routechangesv6.bin seem to reside in this folder:
C:\ProgramData\Cisco\Cisco Secure Client\VPN\
After deleting the routechangesv4.bin file, it worked again.

OS: Windows 11
Cisco Secure Client (AnyConnect) version: 5.0.00556

The files should only exist while your VPN client is connected, when you disconnect they are removed.

Thought I would leave this answer here as I didn't seem to find this exact solution anywhere else.
