VPN 3000 - error type: Reason 422

Hi,

I installed VPN 3000 on my Win XP and using high speed cable connction, and I got "Reason 422: Lost contact with the security gateway. Check your network connection." error when I tried to connect.

From Cisco GUI error lookup, it says: "Description or Action:

The machine's IP address changed or the machine is no longer connected to the Internet.

Note: The VPN Client is required to disconnect the VPN tunnel for security reasons, if the machines IP Address has changed."

What do I have to look at and correct it?

Any one can help???

If it is only this computer that is facing a problem, you could check if there is a firewall there. If all remote devices are facing a problem, then you would do well to check the configuration on the Concentrator and check if there is a firewall there. If yes, make sure that IPSec traffic is not being dropped by the same.
